Question by Aries: (In reference to Johnson's Q) Is saying "Man U" really disrespectful to Manchester United Football Club...? I'd like Man United fans to check this blog out. I'm under the impression it's a respectable Man United blog and they do bring up some interesting points... (In the blog, this subject is discussed entirely by United fans... so don't worry about any "ABUs" *rolls eyes* blagging shite... you can even check the sources yourself if you wish) Note - I'm not trying to offend anyone. I was aware of this but I still say "Man United" or "Man Utd" to avoid controversy... http://www.manutdtalk.com/forums/man-utd-chat/35261-using-term-man-u-disrespectful-offensive-insult.html Oh yeah, mistake. Replace "Blog" with "Forum" lol Dan - Would you bring up tragedies just so you can get under their skin? Oh, it's ok... as long as United get offended, eh... Best answer:

I do not believe anyone says Man U to insult United, they just say Man U because they are too lazy to write Man United. Also BBC and ITV always use Man U, including last night against Chelsea. Anyways this topic has become quite boring, so this is the last thing i will say about it.
