Eamonn Holmes switches sides By Ham N Lonesome In a shock move, Eamonn Holmes today announced that he no longer supports Manchester United and has switched his allegiance to their arch rivals Liverpool. He announced his decision in a tearful press conference late last night after he learned that the news was about to leak out. The news leaked out when it emerged that he had not renewed his season ticket in the Prawn Sandwich section of the Stretford End. When asked about this at his news conference, Eamonn said that he lost his passion while researching his now scrapped book 'The famous Man United went to see the Pope'. He found out that when Sir Matt Busby met the pope in 1972 when he was made a Knight Commander of St Sebastian. The pope shook Sir Matt by the hand and said 'Hello Mr Shankly. Sorry, i don't think it'll work as its not funny. Also, they sell Prawn Sandwiches in many parts of England, Britain, Europe and the World. Also, Eamonn Holmes would not do that as its sacreligious.
