What do you make of the proposed £55million bid Manchester United are planning for Cristiano Ronaldo?

Question by Jerome: What do you make of the proposed £55million bid Manchester United are planning for Cristiano Ronaldo? I mean I tell ya this goes to show just how GREAT Cristiano was - cos normally when a player leaves your team THAT IS IT! Your look forward (not saying Manchester United haven't) cos since he left Manchester United have won the PremierLeague appeared in the Champions League final - so it is not like Manchester United have SUFFERED since he left. Right now Manchester United are in the position to win a treble (will if happen?) well not sure cos so many strong teams in Europe even if Manchester United do get a clean sheet against Real Madrid at Old Trafford. Manchester United have found a NEW MAIN man in Robin van Persie (just shows that the irreplaceable can be replaced and that ONE player is not bigger then your team) But fact is I believe if Cristiano stayed at Old Trafford he would have SMASHED PremierLeague records I know that for a FACT! He would have KILLED the PremierLeague! Cos he raped lower team defences for JOKES! Now from MY angle it seems like the Real Madrid fans in Spain don't really admire him as much as Manchester United fans did not saying that Real Madrid fans don't like him - but I have seen at times Real Madrid fans jeer him and fact is Manchester United fans LOVED him even after the World Cup 2006 incident England Manchester United fans NEVER booed him! Cos we knew just how awesome he was! But with his current contract issues at Real Madrid seems to me higher authorities in Real Madrid are slightly annoyed with him not renewing his deal (on a higher wage) and some of the reports it seems like Real Madrid will try and replace him with Aguero (SO I HEAR!!!) just rumour. BESIDES Aguero didn't want to go from Atletico to Real Madrid cos of the Madrid rivalry - and IF Real Madrid do go for Aguero in the future it will be just like De Gea not leaving Atletico straight to Real Madrid cos of the rivalry but not wouldn't mind going to the Santiago Bernebeu. Anyway what do you think of it all? Best answer:

I would welcome CR7 back but as long as he didn't walk in with his big ego lie he was the king of the place, United is a fantastic collective team and everybody works for each other, if Cristiano relizes that it won't all be about him then United will go onto do even greater things if that's even possible Liverpool's five european cups will be in serious jeopardy if CR7 returns
